Nextup: Francis Inferno Orchestra (FIO) – Vibrations

FIO has been touted as one of the saviours of Australian dance music, along with producers such as Flight Facilities and much of the output on Future Classic imprint. In a world where mass EDM culture is everywhere, Griffin James refreshingly provides dancing disco beats which have an aura of sophistication brought about by his slick production skills.

‘Vibrations’ is a little piece of disco delight. Below we’ve popped the preview for all those who are curious; featuring tantalisingly brief vocal snippets gelled into a syncopated, spangling hi hat rhythm riding a wave of slow moving bass which rumbles along in the background. This is a song of light, digestible proportions – FIO influenced by the famous Australian summer.

Release: January 2014
