For our 3rd mix we’ve got writer John Hardy to put a few tunes together. Here’s what he had to say about it: 
‘After trying to record a 122bpm-ish house mix for the blog a couple times, I didn’t feel that the finished product was in anyway distinguishable from any other house mix you hear an amateur DJ put together. So, I went back to the drawing board. The Luvless release on Tsuba earlier this year, with the standout 106bpm ‘Down With You Baby’, made me decide to look at the more downtempo tunes in my collection and put together something slower. The result is this mix, recorded in 1 take, with all the tunes pitched to 110 bpm. It’s not technically perfect, as there were some tracks I’d never actually tried spin before on there, but I was pretty happy with the different vibe playing at that tempo created.’
