Nextup: Events worth leaving the house for (12th – 14th September)

Fairly quiet one this weekend – presumably to prepare for the upcoming Freshers onslaught but we still have The Martinez Brothers doin’ their thang at Sankeys and Jon K representing at Soup Kitchen.

12th September
The Roadhouse

Boasting excellent residents, So Flute have become one of Manchester’s best loved nights over the last couple of years. Regulars at the intimate Roadhouse venue, expect an eclectic insight into all things dance music.

Sankeys
TRIBAL SESSIONS: THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS, JOZEF K.
Hosted in the club you’ve probably heard most about, second only to Warehouse Project, Tribal Sessions takes over a revamped Sankey’s offering a more nuanced exploration of the deep & tech house genre.

Soup Kitchen
Rhythm Theory – Slam
Techno legends in the basement! Expect top techno and master selections from the Scottish pair.

13th September

EYES DOWN WITH JON K AND KELVIN BROWN
A historic return of one of Manchester’s finest club nights. Jon K & Kelvin B will be resurrecting Eyes Down (for one night only?) in response to every increasing demand. Combined with the fact that this is taking place at one of cities best clubs – Soup Kitchen – attendance is heavily advised.

Sound Control
SUB:CONSCIOUS & MISSTICKLE BIRTHDAY BASH
Those in pursuit of lower end grooves and bassweight this week look no further than Relapse at Sound Control. These guys have been doing it a while now throwing great parties orientated around Drum & Bass, Jungle, Breaks and more.
